The West Linn-Wilsonville School District has added a fourth middle school, which means that your junior-higher might have a decision to make!
Meridian Creek Middle School, located east of I-5 in Wilsonville is changing the boundary map. Students in 6th and 7th grade in the new residence area have the option to finish middle school at their current school or at a new school. Their 5th grade siblings may also join them at their current school if so desired.
For example, a child currently attending Wood Middle School may stay and finish at that school. Additionally, younger siblings starting middle school in 2017 may also choose to attend Wood Middle School.
The map below shows the new boundaries.
One of the most common questions associated with the new boundaries is in regards to busing. While busing will be provided for students staying with their current school, it is not guaranteed for younger siblings attending a school outside of their assigned residence area. Families in this situation who want to continue to use the bus are encouraged to submit their Enrollment Intention forms as soon as possible.
